The TLDR App ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safe-guard your information when you use our mobile application, TLDR: Summarize Everything (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Data

We do not require you to create an account to use the App. We do not strictly collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number directly.

b. User Generated Content (Inputs)

The App allows you to input text or URLs ("Inputs") to generate summaries. These Inputs are processed using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

• Processing: Your Inputs are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini API via Firebase Vertex AI) for the sole purpose of generating the summary.
• Storage: We do not store your Inputs or the generated Summaries on our servers. All history is stored locally on your device. You can delete this history at any time within the App.

c. Purchase & Subscription Data

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. When you make a purchase:

• RevenueCat and Apple collect data regarding the transaction (e.g., product ID, transaction date, subscription status).
• We do not have access to your full credit card information; payments are processed securely by Apple.
• We use an anonymous App User ID to track your subscription status.

d. Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., app launches, feature usage) to improve the App's performance and stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
• Process your transactions and manage your subscription.
• Generate summaries using third-party AI services.
• Improve the App experience and fix bugs.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with trusted third-party service providers solely for the functionality of the App:

• Google Gemini (Vertex AI): Used to process text and generate summaries. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management infrastructure. Refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Your summary history is retained on your local device until you delete the App or clear your history. Subscription data is retained by RevenueCat and Apple in accordance with their policies to ensure your access to premium features.

5. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
