All your data stays on your device, under your control.

All data you create within Atom—including your habits, check-in records, notes, statistics, and preferences—is stored 100% locally on your device using the device's internal database. We have no cloud servers, backend infrastructure, or remote storage systems. We cannot access, view, or retrieve any of your data.

2.3 Third-Party Services

Atom does not integrate any third-party analytics services, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs. We do not use services such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar platforms that collect user behavior data. Your usage of the app is completely private and unmonitored.

3. Log Data

In the event of an app error or crash, your mobile device's operating system (iOS or Android) may automatically generate standard diagnostic information (commonly referred to as "crash logs"). These logs typically contain technical information such as:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version and configuration details
• Timestamp of the error
• Technical stack traces (code execution paths)

These crash logs are generated and controlled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) as part of their standard operating system behavior. They do not contain any personally identifiable information such as your habits, check-in data, or any content you've created in the app. We may access anonymized crash reports through the respective app store developer consoles solely for the purpose of identifying and fixing technical issues to improve app stability.

4. Device Permissions

To provide its core functionality, Atom requests the following device permissions. These permissions are used exclusively for the purposes described below and do not involve any data transmission to external servers:

4.1 Notifications Permission

Purpose: To send you local reminder notifications at times you specify.

How it works: When you set up habit reminders, Atom schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated entirely by your device's operating system and do not involve any remote push notification services or external servers. No notification data is transmitted to us or any third party.

Your control: You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings or within the app's settings.

4.2 Photo Library / Storage Permission

Purpose: To save progress card images to your device's photo library when you choose to share your achievements.

How it works: When you use the app's share feature, Atom generates a visual progress card (an image) of your habit statistics. To save this image to your photo library, the app requires permission to write to your device's storage. This permission is only used to save images that you explicitly choose to create and save. Atom does not scan, access, read, or upload any other photos or files from your photo library.

Your control: This permission is requested only when you attempt to save a progress card for the first time. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device's system settings.

5. Data Security

While all your data remains stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, we recognize the importance of protecting your information. We implement industry-standard coding practices and security measures in our app development to minimize vulnerabilities.

However, please be aware that no mobile application is entirely immune to security risks. The security of your data ultimately depends on:

• The security measures built into your device's operating system
• Your device's lock screen and authentication settings
• Physical security of your device

We strongly recommend that you:
